The 9% AHA/BHA/PAD complex packs a punch with the highly concentrated power of omnipotent acids and panthenol.
Mandelic acid acts as a gentle alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that gently exfoliates the top layer of skin. The gentle exfoliation removes dead skin cells, which stimulates skin regeneration. At the same time, mandelic acid helps stimulate collagen production, resulting in improved skin texture and a more even complexion. As an added benefit, the moisturizing properties intensify skin hydration for a supple, smooth complexion.
As a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA), the deep-acting salicylic acid’s lipophilic molecular structure makes it fat-soluble, which enables it to efficiently dissolve sebum and dead skin cells. With this unique mode of action, salicylic acid cleanses the pores thoroughly and prevents them from clogging, which reduces the appearance of blemishes such as blackheads and pimples.
